The Animalin Center, run by Catherine Collignon and Nicolas Ducasse with its team of professionals committed to dogs, is recognized in France as one of the pioneers in the dissemination and transmission of friendly and positive methods. For more than 20 years, the Animalin Center has carried out its commitments around training services, the AnimalinBoutique online store and the Génie Canin editions.

The training center

The Animalin Center is a reference of professionalism both in the quality of its training and in the philosophy of approach responding to positive education, based on the clicker-training method, games and lure reward, but above all on the view taken by Catherine Collignon and Nicolas Ducasse on their exchanges for more than 20 years with dogs. In the context of education courses, internships, long-term professional training and dog camps, the missions of the Animalin Center, whose trainer referents are Catherine Collignon and Nicolas Ducasse, with its team of speakers recognized in their fields of expertise are to inform and train in a behavioral approach to dog education in order to prevent the most common behavioral problems faced by most owners. Concerned with active and personalized listening, their professional approach is based on the desire to respond to the demands of owners while preserving the needs of dogs.

AnimalinBoutique

AnimalinBoutique, whose manager is Alain Cadieu, is the first French online store engaged in the sale of non-painful accessories for education and behavioral rehabilitation. Since 2003, AnimalinBoutique and its team have been implementing a selection of more than 2000 products - around education, saddlery, rest, meals, transport, games and bookstores - with some accessories from the registered brand Animalin, including the anti-traction harness designed by Catherine Collignon (also available on our e-shop).

The Canine Genius Editions

An independent publishing house specializing in dog training and dog behavior, created by Catherine Collignon and Alain Cadieu in 2010, the Génie Canin editions are aimed at all dog enthusiasts and professionals in the dog training field. Driven by the distribution of a selection of works translated and written by international specialists in dog training and behavior, it works to transmit caring methods. Ian Dunbar, Turid Rugaas, Emma Parson, Linda Tellington-Jones, Jean-Pierre Brigeot, Karen Pryor, Barry Eaton, Catherine Collignon , including Teaching my dog to walk on a leash without pulling , or more recently Katja Krauss and Gabi Maue, The Dog and its Language - Observe, Decrypt, Communicate , as well as its Exercise Booklet can be found on our e-shop.

2022-2023

The Animalin Center, in partnership with the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, is defending the case of MP Corinne Vignon on the ban on the sale and wearing of choke, torcatus and electric collars.

Our History

2016

Organization of a congress under the theme of olfaction in order to introduce olfactory research to optimize education, prevent behavioral problems and facilitate the rehabilitation of dogs in behavioral reeducation.

The origin of the Animal Center

2013-2018

Animalin offers long-term professional training in partnership with the agricultural high school of Masseube; the first and only French training recognized by the Veterinary Canton of the Canton of Geneva and equivalent to the SCS or UCS educator certificate provided in Switzerland. In 2023, the Animalin Center is continuing this adventure and opening its long-term professional training to the profession of Dog Educator.

Animalin creates Éditions du Génie Canin, a publishing house whose mission is to translate and distribute foreign reference books on dog training and behavior. Catherine Collignon is the author of the book "Apprendre à mon chien à marcher en laisse" from Éditions du Génie Canin.

MFEC

Catherine Collignon, with the support of Ian Dunbar, created the association MFEC (Mouvement Professionnel Francophone des Éducateurs de Chien), which aims to promote the use of respectful methods in the education and rehabilitation of pet dogs, and brings together professionals in canine education and behavior. In 2023, Catherine is an honorary member of the MFEC.

2017

Le Centre Animalin organise le 1er Festival Enchanté célébrant la nature et le vivant. Le Festival accueil des thérapeutes spécialisés dans les médecines énergétiques pour humains et animaux. Concept pensé par Lisa Leicht.

La SPA sous la présidence de Natacha Harry mandate Catherine Collignon et Nicolas Ducasse pour instruire et former les salariés des 56 refuges à travers la France aux méthodes positives en éducation et rééducation.

The Animalin Center welcomes Dr. Ian Dunbar for the organization of the K9 Games®; subsequently, Animalin will become the European partner of the K9 Games®, which will be followed by the organization of several Summer Camps with Ian Dunbar and more recently, the Doggy Games France.

2004

The Animalin Center organizes the 1st Summer Camp, a stay organized around canine education and its different disciplines bringing together passionate professionals. Since then, other Summer Camps organized at our Center have emerged: Doggy Relax, Doggy Games France and the Odor Discrimination Summer Camp.

Animalin becomes a Training Center (approved by the Ministry under no. 73.32.000323.32), the Animalin logo and name are registered and protected.

Opening of AnimalinBoutique

First French boutique to offer accessories tested by dogs, respecting their physical, emotional and mental integrity.
