Important: It can be difficult to choose the perfect Kong toy for your dog.

Very generally, we can say that there are three types of interaction between dogs and their toys:

    1. Dogs who are not prone to chewing or biting: For dogs who rarely destroy their toys, you need toys that are easy to grasp, such as stuffed animals, fabric toys or very soft rubber toys.
    2. Moderately Chewing or Biting Dogs: These dogs enjoy playing with all kinds of toys. They may be able to destroy stuffed toys, but usually not rubber toys.
    3. Dogs with a strong tendency to chew or bite (Power Chewers): These dogs are generally quite determined and they tend to be destructive with their toys. For them, choose a durable and interactive toy, preferably made of hard rubber or, if the rubber is softer, be sure to opt for toys that do not have any roughness or holes through which the dog could start its chewing work. However, note that it is good to give these dogs a toy with a simple hole to evacuate the air contained in the toy as soon as the dog exercises its jaw. This is often enough to make them happy…

Note: Always supervise play sessions with your dog. Always replace toys that have been damaged.
